Adsense account?

I have a main domain and a lot of subdomains. I want to make an AdSense account, but my main domain does not get much traffic and does not have too much content.
Can I get an AdSense account by putting one of my subdomain during registration with AdSense or I need to put my main domain for that?
I hope I am clear with my question

    You can apply for an adsense account regardless of the amount of traffic the site gets. Put your best site forward when applying.

    Also if the subdomain has it's own TLD (i.e. it's on shared hosting) it won't matter, adsense won't differentiate if it's its own TLD.
