How many internal links we can use in a web page in SEO aspect? My site is having 128 internal links. I feels like it is too much.
Does it depend on the number of pages in that site? Means is there any ratio for the internal links and total pages in a site? My site only having only 10 inner pages.
Please advice.

Considering all links like navigation, menus and link in content than it is fine. And if you are only talking in content section than it is too high. In content 400 words content add 2-3 links only.

Are the 128 internal links outgoing links? If there are outgoing links, too much. Reduce them!

      Ummm... What?

How can you have 128 internal links that are outgoing links? WTF???

Tell me more about these magical internal outgoing links you speak of...

128 internal links on 10 pages looks a little too much to me. Personally, I use internal links create a good website structure for my visitors. They will not get lost or go around in circles on the website but they are able to quickly navigate to what they are looking for. So it creates a better overall user experience. Additional advantage is that crawlers will have an easier job to index the content on all my pages.

Interestingly, I have just been discussing this very subject with someone and came here to pose the question myself but just found this thread.

I've been wondering what links within a blog post does Google take notice of? If I understand correctly from what's been said here, Google tolerates and recognises internal links to other posts within our site as being natural and only views too many outgoing links as suspicious, is that correct?

But does Google also take into account links such as social media links, plugin links, etc? For example, say I make a blog post of 400 words and place 2 links in the content manually. I may also have a webform that says "Powered by... *whoever*" which contains an outgoing link. I may also have links to, say, 5 social media 'bookmark & share' type links. Now in that scenario, in addition to the 2 manual links, there would be a further 6 links.

So what does Google actually pay attention to - does it consider only links within the typed content of the blog or does it count all the others too?

You have a 10 page site with 128 internal links on a single page?

Google WMT shows, that my website has about 5 million internal links. It seems very strange. I checked these links, most links contain "geoInfo" elements.

People are sure mixed up. I see nothing in the OP to see
anything about content links. This thing has morphed into
      a bunch of nonsense.

Google, for the record, states you should have no more than
100 links on a page, due to visitor experience. But this is
an arbitrary number. Google does not pay much attention to
links in footers, especially if the page is long. But this number
is arbitrary. Craigslist, ebay, amazon, yahoo, etc. etc. etc.
have a bazillion links on a page.

Nothing in the OP's post has anything to do with "value."

So much nonsense. Like amazon, ebay, craigslist, etc. are
worried about people getting lost, let alone what google thinks.

I don't know how many links craigslist has on one page, but
it could be 1,000. Amazon, perhaps 200-300.

If your page warrants a zillion links, put em on there.

Nobody has ever answered how a 10 page site gets 128 internal links.
I suppose like many WF members. They put the same link in their
sig multiple times, just different anchor text. Like that, silliness
is bound to take over in threads like this that are inherently silly
      to begin with.

BTW: Some google webmaster guidelines are actually suggestions.

This thread has 10 post & 478 instances of http in the source code of the page.

Don't expect Google to follow 500 links (exaggerated example) on a page in one visit, considering they don't crawl an entire site at one time.

The only thing that matters is does a lot of links make sense for traffic.
