Hey all, so I've been swamped with work. Nevertheless, PAY DAY. I need some tools for my business. I don't want any type of crappy automated software either.

I want tools that makes things efficient. Data/research etc.

As of now I have

- Majestic SEO

and....that's it lol.

I AM looking into scrapebox, but I need to take a deeper dive into what it exactly does and learn more about proxies.

Any other recommendations that I may need? Thanks folks. Back to work I go.

If you care about the sheer number of backlinks that you can find, I would dump Majestic and go with Ahrefs.

SpyGlass is great for the actual link analysis.

Nothing else out there finds more backlinks than Ahrefs though.

Sounds good. Do you use Scrapebox at all?

I do but not like you see people use it here. I use it to find link sources as a scraper (not something you would ever want to use at work - need your own set of proxies).

As an alternative to Spyglass you might want to take a look at Inspyder. Depending on what you want its better in some ways than Spyglass

        https://www.inspyder.com/products/Ba...r/Default.aspx

it has API access direct to ahrefs (as Mike suggested one of the best now for checking backlinks) and isn't as clunky. Look around and you will find it for $69 . The APi access saves you some money because credits can be bought at a cheaper price and roll over unlike the monthly subscription fees.

I have some videos coming out (you should know where - forum is finally getting an overhaul too) this Monday so you can take a look at that and some other things.

Oh and since you are a semi white hat boy now you might look at link detective also

I wouldn't write automation out completely. As online businesses we do a whole lot of repetitive stuff that a little automation can help you out with.

Gotcha. At first I thought you called me a white boy LOL! I need to go over the 2502503 videos you have though so I can get this blog network going.

So you're mixing up your links with PR networks, scrapebox and finding that 2.0 submitter?

Ah so you are the little punk that I heard said my class was too long. ITs 25 videos Cantwatchalot and you can always fast forward plus since you don't like to watch videos the program you keep bugging me :p about will be live again as well on Monday. SO no training needed to get started Had to overhaul it for a number of reasons but the good news is - it will include content (major hassle but since so many people wouldn't put up content it actually became a security - from Google - risk). So what will be your excuse then? eh? Zero video guy.

Whattt????? NO not really. Scrapebox is a pretty good white hat tool too. Use it to look for sites that you want to approach for links. The only thing people use it for in regard to networks is blog commenting to get a little more juice on either weak owned sites or web 2.0. Oh and some people use it to check out web 2.o sites that have been deleted from the service and had PR.

Don't need balls, I'm a baller. I'd throw down with any SEO on this board. Then I'd beat them at pool, markmanship and drag racing (but not in drag guys, please.) That's just how I roll.

I suggest you spend an hour or so going through the Scrapebox instructional videos, then decide if you want to buy it.

If you know what you are doing you can also use it to find expired domains that come back to life with decent PR. You can also use it to do a comprehensive backlink analysis.

Best $57 I have ever spent.

I would stay away from the Scrapebox instructional videos. They have never been updated and sucked when they first came out. There are tons of good tutorials on YouTube that users have made though.

I also wouldn't waste time using Scrapebox for backlink analysis. Ever since YSE was shutdown, it has become pretty useless for that. There are far better tools out there for backlink analysis.

It has tons of uses though.

It depends on the custom merged footprint you come up with to use with the link: operator.
