Adsense invalid clicks are no longer showing(?)

Found out that google now will not only subtract money
from invalid clicks, but will now also deduct the click.

I thought I was going crazy. Normally I read the latest
blog posts, but missed this one.
Increasing the accuracy of AdSense reporting - Inside AdSense

If this was posted before, sorry I missed it as well then.

Makes sense to me. Now you will know exactly how many clicks generated
money. Downside, is that you don't know how many invalid clicks you get.
I gotta check further to see if they are totaled elsewhere.

Remember, invalid clicks are not click fraud. Everybody who has active
adsense clickers will get numerous invalid clicks. I get several daily.
There is no reason to contact google.

I can only hope that this will quell the threads started by people who
see clicks and no money. They will(should?) only see clicks that
got money.

Overall, I think this is a good idea. In fact, google was probably tired
of all the clowns flooding them with emails about clicks not counting.

That first part of the Google article is just nonsense.

We know many of our publishers use multiple Google products on a regular basis, and one of our top priorities is to ensure that each interaction across our products provides a seamless experience.
Google created complete chaos for anyone monetizing Youtube with Adsense (data), & that happened very recently.

As far as the invalid click data increasing CTR data, I only look at the Google Analytics data, which is way more detailed than the Adsense Admin. reports.

Thing is, I think they are doing things to make webmasters feel
better. Keep them in the dark. They claim they need to
protect their secrets in some respect, but some things they
do are just nonsense to keep webmasters at bay. One reason
why they came up with nofollow, disavow, etc. Give the
webmasters something to do and feel good while doing it.
All the while it means nothing.

I don't understand the youtube thing either. My feeling is they
are going to somehow separate the two for some reason.

They seem to be creating and dividing at the moment.

I've been observing this behavior since the beginning of this month i.e. May. Last month, I was getting way lot of invalid clicks and income was very less. This month however, I've seen that both money and click gets subtracted if G thinks it is a invalid click which in my view looks like a pretty good idea.
