Adsense - transaction history page

I looked at the transaction history page and for the month of April it show

Earnings-Adsense for Content= $30.48

But I made way more than that in month of April. Why is it not showing the correct value.

I am very new to all this and still waiting for my first payment.

    At the end of each month, they adjust your earnings and take away all invalid clicks. If you have a large discrepancy each month, you should probably look at where your traffic is coming from.

    The earnings for all invalid impressions and clicks are given back to the advertisers who were affected with this. You should review and double check your traffic to avoid this from happening again. Also, it's already stated in Google's terms of services their right to immediately deduct your income for any discrepancies.

    I undertsand that they want to take away the invalid clicks. But right now there is discrepancy in numbers. On the home page it shows different $$ amount for month of April and at transaction history page its a entirely different number. I wish it was the same number at both places.

    Don't worry about how much you made. Worry about how much you received (either in your bank account or written in the check). It is how much adsense gave you that you see.
