Google AdSense ad serving has been disabled to your site

Hi,

I got the dreaded message "to alert you that one of your websites is not currently in compliance with our AdSense program policies and as a result, ad serving has been disabled to your website". I found that that particular page singled by Google as an example it had auto generated content from Yahoo answers. I deleted the entire page and resubmitted to Google for consideration. Google just replied last night saying I am still in violation. The violation Google said in the first mail was:

WEBMASTER GUIDELINES: Publishers may not place Google ads on pages that violate Google's webmaster quality guidelines (Webmaster Guidelines - Webmaster Tools Help). While we've included the following excerpts from these guidelines, we recommend that you take the time to review them in their entirety.

Make pages for users, not for search engines.
* Don't employ cloaking or sneaky redirects.
* Don't load pages with irrelevant words.
* Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
* Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank.
* Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.
* Avoid tricks intended to improve search engine rankings. A good rule of thumb is whether you'd feel comfortable explaining what you've done to a website that competes with you. Another useful test is to ask, "Does this help my users? Would I do this if search engines didn't exist?"
* If your site participates in an affiliate program, make sure that your site adds value. Provide unique and relevant content that gives users a reason to visit your site first.

Anyone who ever had this problem and successfully got reinstated? Can anyone give me feedback and suggestions to help me get my site reinstated II would be grateful. I am suspecting its because a few posts of mine I had used curated content (is curated not allowed for Googlel adsense?) where I put an original paragraph before and after the copied content I had used and link it there. Anyone can comment on this?

Thanks
Peter

I would say Google intends to eliminate any sites that have a quantity of pages that consist of scraped content. The days of setting up a site and turning a robot on to update content are over. You can scrape the web, but you need to add something of value to it. If you have an affiliate page, you have to do more than regurgitate the product sales page.

The curated content shold be ok, but pages that are not heavily curated need to go,

I had an Amazon web site and got a notice saying the site was not in compliance.

What is the site? Nobody can really answer without that.

Getting disabled is not as rare as people think. Google is
giving you the benefit of the doubt, and not just banning you.

The duplicate content they are talking about, is duplicate content
used to fool search engines by giving them a plethora of ways
to show your site, and all those pages are the same.
The word "substantial," means it must be boat loads and no
reason for the pages to exist. People misquote that part, or
at least misinterpret it. Any site from wikipedia to ebay has
multiple ways of getting to their site using the same content.

Even if you "clean up" a site, it does not mean they will ever
allow ads back on the site or page. They have no reason to
trust you in the future. You have a track record.

Thanks Robin and Paul for your valuable feedback.
I dont scape contents but use some curated content and
they are from well established sites and I linked back to
them. If curated contents are ok then I am not sure what
else is the cause but I will continue to investigate.
Paul I have been to Google adsense forum and I have
come across people who did get ads serving reinstated so I
am hopeful. I just need to know what's causing it and correct it.

Paul I PM you my site url thx

      Thanks

        Hi Peter
I got the same exact email the other day from Google. My site has been the same for several years now. It has original content and when I go look at the page that they are complaining about I don't see were the violation is. I could use some help with this also.

        Thanks
        Bob

    Hi Peter,

I received a similar email the other day, but mine was regarding suspicious activity to my site. They said they detected bots. They were correct because I purchased some traffic as a test I was conducting. Lesson learned on my end

Best of luck with your situation and if you could update if it gets resolved that would be helpful.

Google is extremely smart about detecting traffic sources & knowing If that traffic is legit.

I remember watching a Youtube video (created by Youtube) a few years ago where Youtube (Google) was sampling something like the first 300 unique traffic to a video, then making a decision If that small sample of traffic was legit traffic. I'm sure Google shares similar/same technology across most of their products (search, video, Adwords, etc...).

B I N G O! Yes indeed! First person here besides me seems to know that
paying for views and pumping up stats on youtube is against TOS. It's
not up to 300, I believe, it's that they give you the first 300 free of
suspicion. After that, your views could be locked.

And if people did not know that violating youtube is a violation of
adsense, now you do. In fact, violating ANY google product is
a violation of adsense. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts many people who
        get banned just don't know.

So the next fiverr gig you pay for youtube views, well, more
        power to you.

Crazy right? Amazing what Google is capable of figuring out. Years in the making...

I have a similar problem but with a twist.
Last year I installed a plugin called "Content Revenge" to my main site and also created several other sites on which to use the plugin but unfortunately the whole thing was a complete failure as any who used will attest to.
A couple of weeks ago I was notified by Google that they considered the sites unworthy of Adsense (Webmaster Guidelines) and had disabled it on all the sites on which I had installed the plugin but had not closed my Adsense account.

I'm not concerned about the "other sites" I mentioned but I am very concerned about my main site.
I had to go in and manually delete over 7000 post created by the plugin but on having done so, I don't know how to ask Google to allow Adsense again.
    Here's the twist:
In the email notifications I originally received from Google, there were also links to pages describing how to do this but unfortunately, the emails have been deleted from my Gmail account inbox and I have no idea how this happened as I had actually flagged one of them as unread for future reference.
If anyone else had the same problem for the same reason, (Content Revenge) could you please post about your experience here?

Note to self: avoid anything with "revenge" in title.
