Hey Everyone, I have a site in the self-help niche.

It is ranking for a keyword that receives 2'900 exact monthly searches and doesn't seem too competitive.

I currently have 18 posts on the site and have 4 more to add. I don't want this to be an authority site but I was wondering roughly how many articles will I need on the site to stay ranked at no. 1 and have a passive income?

Any suggestions are welcome

There is no right and wrong answer. I still see some very thin sites (~15 indexed pages) rank very well on tough keywords.

I think it's more about how relevant your content is, how valuable it is, how does visitors react on your site etc..

I know it has been said that "Panda" is after thin affiliate sites, but that's not true IMO. Panda does not favor long quality content. In fact, many of my pages that have ~200 words rank usually way more better than pages that have 1000+ words of juicy comprehensive quality content.
