Calculating a domain value based purely on PageRank

Is there any standard formula for calculating a domain's aftermarket value based purely on its PageRank, without regard for the name itself? I have a handful of aged PR4-6 sites (most are 10 years old) and would like to figure out how to factor this into their value, along with the standard appraisal formulas for marketability, traffic, etc.

    Depends on what kind of backlinks does it have. This the most important "value" factor. If I had a chance to buy PR3 with legit links or PR4 with blog comments links (and all similar crap with same anchortxt) with the same price, I would surely go with the PR3.

    I have bought/sold PR domains at the prices below:

    PR3 ~$50 -> $100
    PR4 ~$100 -> $250
    PR5 ~$250 -> $400
    etc..

    That's it? Doesn't even seem like it would be worth selling then, I can get more value out of the link juice.

      If you think so. If you lurk around godaddy auctions (only 1 place out of hundreds) you will that this is the "common" price tag. Furthermore, I think you are misunderstanding the value of PR. It's not somekind of magic thing that gets you tonloads of traffic, #1 spot on Google and $$$. It's just one factor that shows your domain value. And in most cases it's extremely outdated and overhyped.

      However if your sites are getting traffic and can be monetized then this is different scenario.

    You can try estibot.com or valuate.com. But these tools are not very accurate for evaluation, you can also try NamePros.com for free.

    It depends on how you want to evaluate the the domain.

    In most cases it is 15x yearly revenue which will give you the approximate value of the domain, this is the most common way and is what I'd suspect what most people would use on the secondary market.
