how long until adwords display ad shows up?

Hi, it's my first adwords campaign. I used display ads and it was approved and a manual payment was made 4 hours ago but there are still no impressions or clicks showing up.
any idea the time frame I should be expecting before any impression or click data shows up in my campaign analyzer page? I got nada and don't know if I should alert the google forces or just chill and lay low, maybe switch to decaf..?

    Researchpro,

    While some data can show up hours after your ads have begun showing, other data can take a while. I would wait about 24 hours before you get any good data showing up. Those time frames can vary based on how you have your campaign configured. For instance if you targeted a small region with your ads, they may not be showing as often.

    thanks. I killed all of the keywords since I have website placements chosen. About 10 popular sites. that way the keywords can't stop me from showing up on those sites. At least that is was I just read. Sort of like too many filters might prevent it from showing. So no I just have the placements sites chosen with no keywords.

    This is the message I get when I hover over the "elible" word on my placements websites. "You don't have enough Google AdSense pageviews yet to diagnose the combination of your current campaign settings and targeting criteria."
    not sure what that means though.

    I didn't have the date range set right. I got 2300 impressions but not clicks . Is that bad?

    Stats are not real time. They can be delayed up to 18 hours, (read the fine print at the bottom of the campaign page in adwords).

    Also, for the content network that's not horrible.
