In your opinion or experience what is the best SEO gig you have used off of Fiverr? You can even PM me if you would feel more comfortable with that. I am looking for some quick inexpensive ways to spruce up a few older sites just for kicks and giggles.

I think you will not get a good gig there. Just my opinion.

Use Fiverr for small projects (like any1 to find you blogs, quick data entry, etc). Do NOT use it for SEO!

I know everyone has a lot of bad to say about the gigs, but I personally know someone who has ranked multiple client sites with only using fiverr.

Then why don't you ask him which gigs he used?

Well i was spent about 100$ in gigs, incredible i have lost so much money for nothing. When you see that service cost only 5$ you are going amazing, and buy one after others, and without any results. This is the problem, if you don't receive any results this is also good, becouse you can also destroy all you have built till the order of gigs. I have like only one of the gigs, with backlinks from high pagerank authority websites. Becouse it takes a lot to do all the registrations, etc. So i think this kind of gigs can be useful.

I'm sure that's what happens to most people on fiverr & it's the reason fiverr is so successful, there's an endless supply of fresh traffic buying up $5 gigs (insert Subways $5 song, five, five, five, five dollars...).

SEO gigs on fiverr really have no one to answer to & when you don't see results the catch is, well, you only spent $5, you need to buy another gig, & another, & another...

It's only $5, besides what could possibly go wrong.

@Utah... you ask a question, don't like the answer, ask it again... they say it louder.

You get what you pay for, that works the same online as it does off. If you care about these sites don't risk them. If it really is just for giggles then why not buy some of those gigs and watch them tank? I'll bring the popcorn

Using a SEO Fiverr gig directly on your money site is suicidal.

You might can use some to cover some (high) tiers but to be honest, money wise you can better use a SEO service on one of the IM forums. Again a warning, not all those services are great either so do some research about what you need and what they offer. Also don't expect miracles for a few bucks.

Fiverr is best used for small time projects. I like using Fiverr on graphics work.

The trouble with sharing such knowledge is that good Fiverr gigs are a finite resource and if they get too popular then the quality can suffer or they leave Fiverr to make better money in other markets.

I suggest you gamble $100 on a range of gigs new and old, see what works and then go from there.

I avoid gigs that build links using automated software like SENuke and any gigs that use free web 2.0 links, wikis, profile links and so on.

I have had success with buying Scrapebox auto-approve lists for my use and press release writing and distribution services. The simple typography video production services are also good value if you need a bit of cheap content for Youtube.

The best Fiverr gig I have bought was for graphic design. For $5 I got a poster designed that matched a web site. Because I also got the AI files as part of the deal, the same artwork has also been used in print ads and tickets. Here's the result of a 600 x 900 mm poster from a $5 Fiverr job.

I have also found that new advertisers on Fiverr tend to go the extra mile and over-deliver so they get good feedback.

And if you find a good gig, keep quiet about it

SEO is expensive so I understand SEO for 5 dollars is appealing for most starters. Before you buy any service from any SEO company or seller, you have to understand how SEO works first so you'll know what to avoid and not fall into a buying spree but might put your site in danger.

We can not fiverr or search engine optimization with each other because seo is time taking project or life long process but fiverr is hardly one week process.
