Tracking 202 problems

I recently started using tracking202 to track my PPC campaigns on Yahoo, but it isn't picking up the conversions (so is really useless at this point). When setting up the campaign up, I set the tracking pixel to javascript and got he conversion tracking code from my yahoo account but it did not work. Can anyone help me with this or does anyone know of a good tutorial video I can watch?

Thanks,
James

your conversion info would come from the cpa network not from yahoo.
Unless you have your own offer or service your advertising.

you would need to setup a postback or pixel from p202 to your cpa network,
It's been a while since i used them, Switched over to bevo and can easily track my clicks & conversion of the offers im running. I like using the auto-sync with the cpa networks feature. also can send unlimited traffic.

That sounds pretty cool. Is Bevo free and pretty easy to set up?

      Thanks,

Bevo is great free tracker, you will be able to do most of your tracking with it, the paid features will allow you to auto-sync with your cpa networks.

Are you using a cpa network? and do you see subid's in the cpa reports?
cause seems like all your missing is the post-back url from your tracker to the cpa network...

I use Clickbank, Rapbank, and Click2Sell. I'm still kind of confused as to what a subid does. Can you explain how they are used?

          Thanks again,

A subid is a query string parameter you add to your affiliate links:

            http://network.com/offer?subid=123

That subid you add to the URL will show up in your commission report. If you used a different subid in the link for each place you advertised, you would thus know which ad is responsible for which individual commission.

If you could generate and add a unique subid to each affiliate link only right when it's clicked, you can attribute commissions to specific people (with details like referring URL and search keyword) rather than just to campaigns/sources. That's what these tracking platforms like Prosper202 (or Improvely) do that manually tagging links can't give you.

My problem isn't that I can't figure out where the conversions came from, it's that the conversions do not show up at all. I can see I have made conversions in my ClickBank account, but prosper shows nothing at all.

              Thanks,
              James

in your cb account you should see the subid's which converted?

                grab these tracking id's
and paste them, into p202 manual subid's "update" tab

My understanding is that there's some screen in Prosper202 where you have to paste the subids of the sales to update your reports. You'd get those subids from a transactions report in your ClickBank account.
