SEO Be Careful What You Pay For

Recently ive been trashing and marking about 95% of the comments on my blog as spam.
I decided to take a look at one of the links which led to a spammy spun article on some crappy website, then again it linked to another crap article on another crap site, again, again, again, oooh the next one was a .edu, and then finally I came upon a wikipedia page.
Obviously someone has paid for some of these keywords "Online Psychic" | "Clairevoyant" | "Psychic" etc and isn't getting anything for it.
Unless of course they had a link to another wiki page and so on until it got to an external link pointing to the persons website...?
Just a tip.. be careful what you pay for because you risk pissed of people like me marking all your backlinks as spam and then eventually finding your website and reporting it as spam across as many platforms as they can , then one day out of the blue your site is de-indexed
