Understanding the Results from Google Adwords keyword tool

Hey everyone, I inputted my website name into the "website" feild in Google Adwords keywords tool?
Does this data/keywords tell you what Google thinks Your website is about and Ultimately have a chance to rank for.
When I inputted one of my websites into the website field It returned the exact keywords I was trying to rank for. However, when I entered a second website of mine into the website field It didn't return results of the keywords I was necessarily trying to rank for.
How can I use this information to better improve the content on my website so I can rank for the keywords that I'm targeting.
Any help is appreciated.
