Best keyword/SERP position tool?

Hey everyone,

I've heard about SEO Power suite, Traffic Travis and a few others...

Any recommendations? I just need to be able to research the keywords, backlinks of competitors and track my rankings.

Majestic SEO is good for tracking your ranking and BackLinkWatch for spying on your competitor though a combination of these tools and others work best for me..

Hi SEO tools is best but make sure manually checked a Keyword ranking is the best and perfect rank available so my opinion please check a keyword manually.

  Yes..it's a bit time consuming but still a very good method of knowing exact SERP.

  It is extremely time consuming and tedious, especially if you have 10+ keywords with some ranked beyond the first page. Then you have to come up with a spreadsheet and graph so you can track the changes over time. I wrote the one in my signature to avoid all that.

I suggest to go for ahrefs.com this site is good for tracking your ranking and check competitor backlink.

Yes there are many tool for SERP position but in my point of view don't use it just checked manualy because if you checked your ranking manualy than you know what is exect ranking of your keyword..

There's several good mentions here. I like SEOMOZ for what your describing. You can run campaigns, track competitors and grade each page of your site instantly, which is helpful.Get the Firefox Plugin, and you can get beneficial info & track ranking of any site you wish.

For keyword research, Google Adwords Keyword tool is the best option. It is free of cost as compared to the other paid tools. Global/Local monthly searches it shows are the average of last 12 Month's searches.

To track rankings you should use Google Webmaster Tools. It shows the average position of a particular keyword in search result.

To Check back links of your competitors use ahrefs.com.
