Why Google is showing a UK site which serves only UK market for Australia Google search (on google.com.au)?

For more clear, search on Google.com.au for nanny jobs, Google listed a site that is not serving Australian market that is nannyjob.co.uk - This site was not there before this Penguin 2.0 - It is obviously giving a bad user experiences to Google users... isn't?

Anyhow, I am working for that term and I am on page 2-3 for now, earlier I was on page 5 , so I was able to remember the site that are ranking on page 1.. :p

    This is happening a lot and for a while in the job market for some uk/DE/NL searches a single website takes the first few pages entirely with results that show their own, internal job search result page for jobs in different US cities and locations.

    Basically a useless result. Google is generating it's own spam for the user in this way.

      Yes, But as per Matt, it should not happen, as per him, Google tries to omit such things... (source : What to expect in SEO in the coming months) - I guess, their algo was written up-down instead of down-up

      I guess, such thing may lead Google to loos out its market share in UK, AUS and etc......!!! So, time for Bing & Yahoo

    Try using Google.co.uk every day and constantly getting served US sites, even when icluding 'UK' in your search terms, very annoying.
