My bounce rate is steady at 80% for several months. I write great contents, about 8-10 posts in a month.

So its obvious, posting great contents is the not the only one factor for improving on bounce rate and / or increasing time spent by the visitors on your site.

What are other factors to reduce bounce rate and increase the time spent by the visitors to your site.
#bounce #rate

One way to reduce bounce rate is to have some call to action that gets the reader to click through to another page.

If a visitor is looking for a specific product, say, wireless power drill, and your entire page is an article about wireless power drills, the user won't really be that interested in reading, and may need visuals/products on the page as well. Show relevant posts at the bottom of every article, and include links within your articles to other relevant articles on your site. So when they see an interesting link, they'll click it, and your bounce rate goes down. Come up with clever anchor texts that will entice your readers to click. Having great content alone may not do the job.

Maybe it's about your website design?

It's hard to say what caused you the high bounce rate, but if you give us the URL we would figure it out for sure.

I don't know about your niche, but adding image gallery inside the post would al be good in some niches that visitors not only interesting about reading as well as some images.

Site design is also a very important factor for bounce rate, too.
    Signature
I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

Either the traffic doesn't think it's great content, or your sending traffic away from the page/s via external links on your web pages.

Adding a 2-3 minute video can help

Relying on articles only won't help you all the time. You should have done this with images and created a short video that may help the visitors.
Not every one likes to read about the product in written, they wish to see the product images or a short video which contain only usefull stuff, not rubbish.
