Backlinks not linking?

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to figure out why my site (www.iphonewaterdamagespot.com) has not ranking in google despite my SEO efforts. Upon investigation it seems that none of the backlinks I have created are working. When running my site through backlinkwatch.com it appears that there are no backlinks linking to my site. What could be the cause of this? I have posted articles to article directories, web 2.0 sites and blogs (and am continuing to do so). Thanks in advance for any help!

-Tyler

Backlinkwatch sucks. Just because they haven't found links, doesn't mean Google hasn't.

How long ago have you posted the links? It takes time for your links to be found.

It appears you set up the web site on the 12th May. You then posted a few articles 4-6 days ago.

It takes a few weeks for Google to find the links and then do something with them. Give it time.

It's always good to use a combination of tools.

Have you tried opensiteexplorer or majesticseo?

I have not tried those two but I have tried ahrefs. Ahrefs shows 0 backlinks as well.

      Lol... no.

In some cases, backlinkwatch might make the information readily available faster than Google, but they are not finding links before Google on any kind of a regular basis. They do not have anywhere near the resources of Google to crawl and index the internet.
