adwords/ When Do You Decide That's A Non-profitable Keyword?
I've been testing keywords for a while. But when do you decide to delete a keyword that is not converting?

so how long do you test your keywords before you start to delete keywords that are not converting?

I go by an estimated conversion rate. Let's take the IM niche for example. If you sell something for $20 and the estimated conversion rate is 1%. You set your average cpc to $.20. You should make a sale per 100 clicks making it a conversion of 1%.

So if you spend over $20 on that keyword and had no conversions you should review your offer.

Maybe the keyword is misleading and the reader was expecting something else.

It all depends on your sales process really. A certain keyword may not produce a sale but can build you a list of subscribers. There are many factors involved you want to analyze everything and make sure your campaign and landing page are in harmony.

    Hey John,

    Twice the payout per keyword.

If your payout is $20, give it $40. If your payout is $5, give it $10.

Avoid all keywords with "free" word.
