I never faced the issue before, but currently I'm working on a project that my competitions are mostly Youtube vids.

Those videos are well established with tons of backlinks. The important is when I checked their backlinks, they are from the relevant PR sources not spam links.

Does Youtube's videos with/without above conditions aren't possible to outrank?

How about Wikipedia?

P.S: I mean to outrank them with my site not my video.

Thanks! That's a solution that I made. But, I just curious if there are any ways more than this!

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

        It's an uphill battle.

I know in a couple terms I follow that videos have taken over. It's as if Google is insisting that the searchers would rather watch video for those terms - which might be true.

In your case you have the heavy YouTube domain authority and 'real backlinks' to contend with. How much firepower do you have?

That's the only way though. I have no choice.

This. It's the easiest way to temporarily drive some traffic while you're trying to outrank the videos long term.

Am I correct in assuming that you're referring to trying to out rank a YouTube video thumbnail that appears near the top of search results on a "normal" Google results page, not on the "Videos" tab in search results? If so, then the previous comment about ranking your own video is correct.

For some search phrases Google sticks in 1, 2 or 3 YouTube videos in the top few positions of search results. One or move videos are going to be there, no matter how good your website page ranks for the same keyword. Create your own video, get some YouTube views, and create some quality backlinks to the video if you want to try to get your video to replace the existing one in SERPs.

I had a similar problem a few months ago. Since they have high pr links, you have do to the same. Just more of them than they have.

I would create a video to help me at least get a leg up for that keyword then i would link to my own site; all pr hopefully not easily trackable links so competition can't see what I'm doing.

Video links back to your site so no matter what you're at least bringing in some traffic. When I did this it took about 2 - 3 weeks for my video to slide ahead of the competition and another week or two for my site to hit the #1 slot.
