    Why do you think Pinterest is more famous than Facebook? I disagree with you on this point.

    Both Pinterest and Facebook are viable alternatives to SEO to drive traffic to your sites, and which one is better for your business would probably be dependent on the market and individual business. (ie Pinterest for fashion designers, Facebook for law offices etc)

    Pinterest is new and effective but that doesn't make it no. 1 choice. Facebook has a large users base and it still a best to get some traffic.

    Both have their unique features now. In pinterest you can add your links to images by which you get referral visits. By using OG tags you can share your links with your anchor text targeted, which will give you back links plus referral visits for your page.
