Question About Earning On A Site When No Advertisers Target This Keyword

Ok i know this may sound like a dumb question, but im asking anyway. Im getting back to IM and i was going through sites i worked on over a year ago. One site in particular is number 1 on google for a keyword that gets approx 600 search a month. I did a little research and i have a handful of other keywords that total about 1500 searchs a month. I pulled my analytics on the site and im getting approx 1000 unique visitors a month who are staying on the site for around 4 and a half minutes.

The site is based on something where i cant sell a product from Amazon and im not one for eBooks especially in this niche. I checked Adsense on these keywords and no one is paying for advertising on these keywords, but im getting 1000 people a month.

Whats another way to try and monetize the site?

    Depends on the niche & demographics, you obviously need to monetize with something the traffic is interested in.

    Well heres the problem, the niche really doesnt allow anything lol. But the demographic is male prob age 16-40. So i can i still put adsense on there and will any ads come up or no because the keywords on the site have no advertisers looking for those keywords?

      Sounds like a strange niche, there must be something they are willing to purchase. What were you planning on when you started in this niche?

      You may be best off just creating your own product for this niche. Try to find the biggest problem or need that your visitors have and create a product that solves it for them.
