WP Robot opinions and advice - Users Please Respond

I have been using the free version of WP Robot recently to fill out my site a bit. It is only pulling videos from YouTube, even though it is supposed to be pulling from Clickbank. Not sure why i would want to pull from Clickbank, but so be it.

  1. Not sure whether or not I should spend the $70 ti buy the full version?
  2. Isn't this stealing content? (it doesn't even look like curation)
  3. Are there any pieces of advice you can share to get the best out of this?
  4. Will Google slap me if I put AdSense on this?
There may be other things I failed to ask that I need to know, so anything you can advise on using this plugin wold be appreciated.

    Thank you for your opinion, anyone else?

    Obviously they have been in business for some time selling this plugin, so they must have a stream of customers, of what size that stream is I have no idea. But there must me many out there that are using it. If it doesn't help, how do they continue to sell it. why has the reputation put them under?

    There must me some good use for it?

      IMO WP Robot is probably best not used as an autoblogging plugin, although you can customize the templates to make them "somewhat unique" but Google already recognizes the plugin. I bought it several years ago and these days I use only the Amazon module. I wouldn't refer to it as curation, and yes you get in trouble with Adsense if you're simply autoblogging. BTW WP Robot is kept updated.

      I use the shortcodes so it automatically updates the prices and keeps within Amazon's TOS, and also keeps me from making duplicate posts. But I post it as a draft and add my own unique content before publishing. Not really big on the other modules, but I guess the ebay module would add content that's updated often.


      The plugins Curation Fire, Instant Curator and Gplus plugin might be of interest if you don't mind "semi-automation"

      There are floods of idiots hungry to buy this type of junk. 10 born every minute. Good sales marketing and fancy looking sales threads always wins.

      If your looking to build a site "autoblog style". I would be more pushed to just use good old RSS.

        Who are you calling an idiot? If Google is your only source of traffic then these days it won't work as well as it did when it originally came out. Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, other blogs, etc. are other sources of traffic in which autoblogging doesn't matter. The plugin has paid for itself many times over.

        Your right, floods of idiots do buy these tool and 99% of the WSOs on here are crap.

        Anyone that understands HOW to use this plugin will tell you its extremely powerful. AND will get you in trouble if you do not take the time to learn your tool. Just as any other power tool, you could cut your hand off. WPRobot has been around for ages, FOR A REASON.

        Just a quick example: You can set the campaigns to pull in content from feeds that only display the "legal" limit of text from different sources, any with an RSS feed or even news clips from yahoo. You can auto insert a YT vid along with that, then add in your own commentary later as you see your article start to rank. Why waste time if you are not ranking or getting traffic yet? And remember, Goog isn't the only game in town anymore.

        It is great with Amazon as you can set it to drip feed products over time. You can then go back in and edit the posts to add in your own commentary about the product. A basic thing people like to do is add in a YT vid that matches the KWs of the Amazon product you are trying to sell. It comes out ok. There are something like 30 modules that you can use together in various ways to go outside the box. Think outside the box!

        On the other side of things, you can use to this to pull in mixed content from just about anywhere, have it spun and and you have unique content for the crawlers. People that do this do not do it for the visitors' benefit but for other purposes that I will not get into here. If you do not like dipping into the "darker side" of IM then don't, but there are many, many "idiots" using out of the box methods with WProbot to make quite a lot of money.

        Also, adsense is not the only game in town. If you look at many of the big IMers adsense is a very small portion of their income or not at all.

        Do not get stuck in the adsense mindframe it will hold you back and box you in and make you afraid to do try new things.

        WPRobot was one of the first tools I bought many years ago, as a hungry idiot. It wasn't until sometime later when I started to understand more about IM, that I began to realize the potential of WPRobot.

    People who rely on autoblogging software are NOT building a long-term business. They rely on a piece of software. This is not a business. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

    STOP TRYING TO CUT CORNERS.

    MAKING MONEY ON THE INTERNET IS NOT SIMPLE. IT'S NOT EASY. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE $50K IN YOUR FIRST MONTH.

    Cut the crap and start motivating yourself to build a business. It'll take months, but as you keep building it up and up, you'll notice a residual income stream starting to show.

    I packed over $5k on Amazon Associates this month. My first month of Amazon netted me $80. Work at your god'damn business!

      I have been busting my ass at this for about five years and have shit to show for it. In that five years (almost) I have made less than $5K, and most of that came from selling a Google news site I was doing well with. I needed some quick cash and figured I could build another GN site, but that is what i get for doing my own thinking. It was never to be repeated.

      I just can't post multiple articles on multiple blogs every day, I just don't have the capacity to do it. But I shall dump the WP Robot idea, due to the nasty comments i have received over it in this thread.

      Some of the comments here I appreciate, but others were just pretty nasty. But I thank you for all of them anyway.
