What would be natural? Foreign links or links in the language of your site.

I know whats natural but search engines still have to go a long way to determine all logical factors.

Is the content on your Dutch site written in Dutch? If so, write articles in Dutch, and vise-versa if English.

Just got back from a #BrightonSEO. I was given room 404 in the hotel I stayed at. Couldn’t find it anywhere!

    Hi Ionfore,

If you are aiming on Dutch visitors to visit your website, you should always write unique Dutch content. If you want to get international visitors than it suits your website to put English content on it.

If interested I can assist/help you out on improving your SEO. Please PM me.

    Kind regards,

    ROTFLMAO! Spammers leading the spammers....

Dutch...that's rich....guess you'd be targeting people in the Caribbean,
South Africa, as well as many others.

If you mean The Netherlands...then go for a country based website.
    Most important thing, right there.

Dutch is spoken by millions around the world. So targeting "Dutch,"
    might not be prudent.

But like I said...spam started for spammers...

It's not only important to make an effort into owning a national TLD. In this case .nl, but it's also important that the site is hosted in The Netherlands.

For your information @Paul. In South Africa they speak English and some small minorities speak a sort of Dutch dialect. Their language is quite difficult to understand by the Dutch and has many different words, phrases and verbs.

You are correct, though, on the Dutch Carribbean islands. They speak Dutch, Papiamento and English.
