Multi Tiered Backlinks strategy is working after Penguin update?

Can anyone please tell me after the Google Penguin Updates, Multi Tiered Backlinks strategy is working or not? Will it increase my website ranking or google hit my website if i use this backlinks structure?

    It's working, but i wouldn't recommend it if your wanting to build a long term website.
    In this day, you are wanting high pr back links from likewise websites, they'll soon shoot you up in the serps.

      Thanks for your reply. Can you please tell me how can i get High Pr backlinks? By "link exchanges" from relevant websites OR by "high pr websites of article submissions, directory submissions and social bookmarkings websites"?

        No not article submissions or directory submissions or anything like that.

        Contact webmasters in your niche and ask them for either exchanging links, if they offer guest post's, or even offer them x amount of money per month, or a simple donation.

        Since the new updates, i've stayed well clear of social bookmarking, article directories, web 2.0s, although they do work, there's no gaurantee they'll work long term.

    1 Same niche high PR backlink is worth gold compared to 100 article submission links.

    Yes no problems at all here however you should always ensure that any tier 1 links you create you have the ability to remove at will.

    Then no matter what happens - you are always prepared for the worst case scenario and can fix things up easily.

    SEO is just risk management

      Boys and girls listen to Matt. That is sound advice.

      Tiered link building is minimal risk because only tier #1 links should point to your money site. In effect it's fire walled should the worst happen (if you get a links penalty then login to your Web 2.0s and remove the links).

      Back to the question - I haven't seen any problems with my sites. The rank is either the same or better.

    Multi tiered backlinks still work. However, if you blast crappy backlinks you will be deranked sooner or later. If you use quality links for all you tires, you will be rewarded and the results will last.

    I would much rather have a couple of quality links that funnel page rank to my tier 1 links that tens of thousands of comments and profile links.

    I personally use it still and yes it works just you need to make sure you do make quality links with good content on tier1 specially.
