Hi just read this review hxxp://binarynote.com/seo-pressor-wordpress-plugin-not-worth-penny.html

The review claims that seo pressor is a waste of your money. Can anyone chime in who have used it ? And confirm if its the case?

All you have to do is read the SEO Pressor sales page to know it's nonsense. The only people that will praise it are affiliates trying to get people to buy.

      Totally agree with Yukon.

Just use a free plugin like Yoast that does basically the same things even better.

Yeah, the parts that got my initial interest were the bits batting on about social media seo,,

"SEOPressor automatically adds OpenGraph and Twitter Cards to your pages source code so Google is able to see more relevance of content in your site and ranks you higher on SERPs."

And also the use of using the LSI keywords I thought may be useful. But I presume this can be found through using the google keyword tool?
"This allows users to target up to 3 keywords and for each keyword, a recommended set of LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords would be given to you to use for better on-page SEO. These are the LSI keywords that Matt Cutts confirmed Google is tracking and taking into account for search."

I used to use it about 3 years ago, but since the Panda/Penguin updates I believe it is less useful [over optimization problems].

The thing I don't like about it is it leaves an obvious footprint in the page source code.

They are both a waste of time.

Include your keyword somewhere in the title, meta description, a H1/H2 tag and once or twice in the copy and you are good to go!

Google is much better with this kind of stuff now and the old skool science of on page SEO isn't relevant now.

Just stick to those general guidelines and you'll have no problems!

not worth the money as the OP indicated and we are right

We are a team of 9 persons managing SEOPressor business.

Judging by the amount of spam emails I got about fixes for Penguin 2.0 the day after it came out most must work in sales and yep don't know how else I got on your email list since I haven't bought anything I can recall from you

Here's a better and more thorough review of SEOPressor.
Why because its written by one of your clickbank affiliates?

we are gladly powering more than 128K websites now."
if plugins powered sites then askimet could say they powered all wordpress sites

ow there's some one to fall back on and an on-page SEO plugin that will continue to be maintained, added and grew.
Your SEO can't be good at all if you have to use this thread as an opportunity to drop an anchor text link. don't worry you won't be over optimized by me quoting it . I sent the link to a free SEo plugin.

      Anthony,

Go ahead, you are bashing for the sake of bashing, and I can quote how many more business owners hating you out there for randomly targeting and bashing and thinking everyone else is enemy.

From what I gathered, you are one of the many reasons why good vendors left warriorforum for you are bashing all of them out of your ego. How many more years will you be chasing after me bashing like a kid? I guess the new Forum owner Freelancer.com may want to take attention too!

SEOPressor is 5 years into business, next up is even better, we are ravamping lots of things and adding lots of cool stuffs for we are now serving more than 150,000 websites, did over 500 million requests. My customers are whom I focus to serve, and you can choose yours too, and stop wasting time bashing businesses that offer great value to people, deal? heh, I bet you won't keep quiet. Reply me then, I will get back to you when I need entertainment.

      Daniel

I have used both plugin and I think SEO Pressor is a waste of money and I genuinely think SEO Pressor will lead to over optimization.

I am no affiliate. I have used SEO Pressor for ALL of my affiliate websites. It DOES get good results, at least for me. Has anyone here actually tried SEO Pressor or you're just being skeptics?

I've got really good results using Ultimate SEO on several sites...

It might be a bit to techie for some users, in that case use SEO for Wordpress by Yoast.

    haha ok great.

I see Daniel Tan has failed to reply, it is a bit cheeky when you say your plugin powers a website. And how can we trust reviews when they have affiliate links in them. I'm not convinced.

And no reply indicates peoples opinions are right about the plugin

I actually liked SEO pressor but only because I wasn't really sure how to do on page SEO optimizing. However, with that being said for that type of plugin it is waaaaay too much money. There are probably cheaper, if not free plugins you could use to do the same thing. I did use a free one for awhile, but it kept putting advertisements under all my blog posts every time I used it so I stopped.

    Hi,

I going to check it out and see how effective it is. Maybe i'll run a case study or something and use other tools to compare how effective there results are when they bring them up in their platform.

I guess what I'm trying to find out is how much it streamlines the process of keyword research and selection. I mean if I am writing a post and it provides keywords right away which are both effective and actually make sense then why not use the plugin so you don't need to go through GKT (Google Keyword Tool) and it'll help you save some time.

    Right?

I'll get back to you guys on this.

I would go with SEO by Yoast!

SEO Pressor does not seem to be a popular one for a reason!

Yoast SEO is good, but don't look too much into plugins. The majority of the on page SEO happens within the actual HTML content on the page (aka your title tags, semantic markups <h1>, <h2>, etc, keyword density, semantic keywords, images and internal links).

What WordPress plugins do is easily inject meta deta and description tags into your the header of your website's code. If you've ever had to perform SEO on an HTML site, you'd appreciate what these plugins would do for you.

Again, these aren't magic ranking tools. They simply make your life easier by cutting down your need for a web dev.
