        Haha as if, I know a highly reputable SEO company that are quite simply being paid by a guy I know for doing "nothing"..

        I could have had his site on the front page of Google for his main keywords by now, yet 6 months ago he hired an SEO company who haven't even budged him from the 2nd page.

        So SEO companies aren't the best way to go, going with someone who has passion and desire to succeed with SEO is.

    Intrepreneur, I'd have to disagree.

    Not all companies are the same. Unfortunately there are thousands of bogus firms whom are simply willing to take your $, for little to nothing - though I can assure you there are also alot of decent firms; where you can capitalize on a myriad of talents.

    Ask yourself this:
    Would you allow 1 singular person to build your house? Ie: Lay the foundations, do the plumbing, glaze the windows, lay the carpet? Paint?

    If you're seeking a Jack of all trades, master of none; then you are bound to run in to trouble. SEO & more importantly "Generating Conversions"; requires a skillset that in ally my years of Marketing products & services online, have never seen in 1 person.

    Even the best SEO's know, you have to outsource given tasks.

    That's my 2c.

      Simon this was in response to the OP who said "It's better to hire and SEO company"... and I continued to outline why this statement was wrong.. The guy who I spoke of could have had his number 1 position by now if he had of hired me, but he's stuck in a contract and I'm not sure if he'd have hired me anyway.
