If I found a price mistake or other limited time deal on the web and I wanted to promote my page that contains the deal, how could I promote it? Purchase tweets pointing to my page?

Facebook Ads would be perfect in that scenario. And the targeting features are awesome!

If it's a price mistake, I don't think this will pan out well for you. Consumer laws generally state that a price tag is only an "invitation to treat". Meaning either party can cancel the contract before money and goods have exchanged hands. So if you run off selling price mistakes, the seller is sure to notice the mistake and simply cancel and refund all the mistaken orders. Along with an email notifying the buyer of the mistake.

For instant digital downloads it might work on the buyers behalf of getting their purchase. But as soon as the seller notices, they would be sure to boot you from any type of affiliate contract they had with you. They don;t even need a reason to do that, as in most affiliate contracts they clause a "We can shut you down anytime we feel like it" line.

Depends on your niche, but PPC is the fastest way, and Facebook ads are very effective.

It depends on the niche. But you can go fast with PPC like Facebook ads (which are pretty good if the deal is great!)

Adwords is the easiest and probably the quickest way to jump at the front page of Google.
