Question about Site: anydomain.com for GD auctions

This pertains to buying expired domains from Godaddy auctions.

If you do the google check site: anydomain.com

and the site isn't indexed, does that mean that Google de-indexed the site because of penalties, etc.

or

is it only de-indexed momentarily because it's being sold through Godaddy Auctions?
