Adsense Page RPM - Totally Confused

I am not too familiar with Adsense and just noticed that my most performing website that has very high traffic has a low page RPM ($1.64). (Revenues are good though). (Real Estate Forum)

Other sites with very poor traffic/revenue have a Page RPM of $3.35 (Real Estate News website) and $2.89. (Home Loans)

One of the poor performing site (in terms of traffic and revenue)
has a page RPM of $ 11. And the worst performing site (weight loss) has also have a Page RPM of $111. Wow, I am totally confused.

Any inputs would be much apprecaited

    I have made quite a few changes to the website.

    Date Pageviews Clicks CTR CPC RPM Earning

    1 2,215 15 .68% $0.50 $3.36 $7.45
    2 2,405 30 1.25% $0.20 $2.55 $6.14

    I dont understand the above figures. With more pageviews and more CTR, why is the final earning low?

    Please enlighten.
