Two weeks ago, our website has been having loading problems with our webhost. Sometimes, it loads properly, but sometimes, it is down and cannot load. We received several complaints from different clients that they cannot access the website. We contacted our webhost, and I believe there is problems with our shared hosting servers, but this has been fixed already. Since about a week and a half ago, we did not receive any complaints already on our website being down.

The problem right now however is our traffic. We have noticed a significant decrease of traffic, around a total of 30% decline in traffic. I am much concerned if this has a factor of our SERP rankings dropped due to the website being down, and Google may have flagged our website on this. I hope that those problems we experienced were just temporary, and things are back to normal now.

If your site is consistently down (in the past) I seriously doubt Googles algo. will keep your pages ranked in the SERPs. Check your main keywords/ranked pages with Incognito browsing & see If your still ranked.

From experience running a local marketing firm with many SEO clients, YES, your SERPs will be affected negatively if your website is down.

Google crawls your site, sees it's down, and BAM - they are going to take note and drop you.
