Hi,

Are there any decent broker type websites where you can buy text links? I'm thinking a site where people who have things like genuine blogs about a subject and are willing to rent out a few text links on the homepage?

Thanks,
Dan

A lot of them have gone out of business or morphed into
"content" sharing sites. Instead of a link, they try and market
an article for you. Like digital pros.

If you do use a link broker, they need to be up on things.

Link needs to be in text, high up, and make sense in the article.
It cannot be a global, sitewide link.
There must be no links or info on the site anywhere that even
hints at advertising on the site.

Violating those 3 is a big tipoff to google that the link is paid.

It should be reiterated that nobody should have a link on their
site to inquire about advertising on the site. You can have
a contact page, but no mention of ads. I don't even have a contact
page. They get my info readily from whois.

Instead of a link broker, contact some sites yourself.
