You can go with free online tools like ahrefs or OpenSiteExplorer or you could also utilize a free analyzing software like Traffic Travis or Market Samurai.

  Backlink watch is the best free platform for backlink check. You can also use Seo spyglass of Link assistant.com. Both of these tools give 1000s of links with its anchor text, dofollw status etc.

Don't forget to actually check Google etc yourself using the operator;

A couple of months ago I build 60 high PR blog posts to my affiliate site.

- OSE shows links from 22 referring domains (OpenSiteExplorer from SEOmoz that is)
- Backlinkwatch shows around 40 referring domains
- Ahrefs shows links from 54 referring domains
- Majestic shows links from 58 referring domains
- Google Webmasters shows link from all 60 referring domains.

Guess that shows who's the winner!

I can easily manage all the backlinks that I build with this tool. Other tools are just too inaccurate & the data they provide are 80% junk.

All I need to track are :-
1. is the link alive?
2. anchor text to the link
3. any tiered links pointing to that link?
