Just saw this website with 6 Adsense banners on each post. It is a pretty large site, in terms of Alexa rank. Wondering if this is within the terms of Adsense?

Hell even if it wasn't in the terms of adsense, I would NEVER want to have that many ads on my site. It'll just turn off the viewer.

That's true. But I just want to know if this is allowed? As I thought 3 is the max.

Make that 7 as I missed the one in the content. LOL. 7 Adsense ads on one page.

Adsense give some of their special partners permission to run additional units - and they have a special set of rules for how it's to be done.

OP - Am I correct in guessing that the site you found has long pages?

Not really. The articles are roughly 400-500 words. Normal length, I think.

Doesn't matter how many Adsense Ad blocks you load on a page, I doubt they'll show advertisements for a regular Adsense account once you reach the max number of Ads.

So, they probably have some private deal with Adsense?

If its a large publishers, Google does not have those strict Adsense policies.

They can modify ads directly by loading them as JSON objects and do anything they want with the ads. I'm pretty sure, they must have been allowed to run the extra units.

Some sites (ex: ehow) have a different type of Adsense account, than what the average person will have.

Check the HTML source code of the site your talking about & compare that Adsense code to what we run, it's probably a different looking Adsense code.

I think Google has a secondary ad network that runs ads similar to Adsense. IIRC you can put those ads on your website along with Adsense.

Not sure about the details though.
