Searchers type their search into a SE and get a SERP. Do you think they look at the URL or just look at the title? I would think savvy computer-oriented people do, but that 99% of everybody does not look. What do you think? Reason I ask is because niche.com looks better than niche.weebly.com. However, even with that, I don't know if the average person even cares if it's a weebly site or not. And since I have "pro" weebly sites (no ads), I suppose they shouldn't care.

I am still pondering assigning a domain name to my main weebly site.

Do you mean domain or url? They are not really the same.

Either way, it matters very little. People click on the title.

In a lot of cases, google does not even show the url.

But the url matters a little bit to google. It can be a tip off
as to what the page should(is) about.

The only way the url or domain matters is in PPC like adwords.
Your url is shown, and I suspect people do notice. If you don't
like the url of a site you want to advertise, you can always
use a subdomain with your keyphrase and redirect to the ordinary
page if clicked. Showing a different url on same domain is legit.

How would people know you have a pro weebly site, no ads?

Just make sure the url (not domain) is optimized.

My weebly sites are the pro version. I thought regular weebly sites show ads but I just checked and it says they don't. So, I am not sure what I get out of being "pro" site. Hmmm...
