Anyone willing to share a backlinkg strategy? (that works)

Hi,

Anyone willing to share a backlink strategy that works? With detail would be nice. What do you use for each tier? Do you do do any spinning? How do you fit social signals into it? Do you use web2.0s, private blog networks, article directories?

Anyone brave enough to share with the rest of us what really works? Sick of stabbing around in the dark or is this what SEO is?

Cheers in advance,
Seamy

Well if you're going to build links aka spam, then just take a look at a handful of hard SERPs and study for yourself. Other wise, do things that get noticed and well deserve real links.

My niche doesn't work like. No one talks about it. Its a business to business sector.

If it's B2B then network with business owners.

        "plumbing" "owner" "my website" inurl:"linkedin.com"

        • plumbing (the niche)
        • owner (deal directly with the site owner)
        • my website (proof they have a website (future backlink?))
        • inurl: (only searching linkedin)

A simple but effective stratergy is to :

Grab High Pr Contextual backlinks from others that are in your same niche.

Guest posting on High Pr blogs

Those 2 combined achieve awesome results.. and long lasting effecting results too.

Are you talking about buying links? Is this what you mean by grabbing high PR contextual backlinks from others that are in your same niche.

Guest posting opportunities are difficult to come buy.

The whole point of this thread was for someone out there to provide some detail or at least hint at an approach that works.

      Is tiered linking dead?

Is there any point building high quality web2.0 mini sites, pointing other web2.0s, article backlinks and blog comments at them?

Is the above only useful for diversification.

Everyone says to build a small private blog network for each money site but what links do you point at them? Do these blog networks need another private blog network pointing at them?

If that is the case, we are starting to get in to some serious time and money.

I get it, related guest posts and high pr links from niche related sites blah blah blah. This does not constitute a strategy.

In today's competitive SEO landscape, not sure if someone will be willing to share their complete backlinking strategy, especially if it works effectively. You will only get tidbits of information which can be very worth it on its own.

Here's a quick strategy that you can use to find some good guest posting opportunities. Let's say you were in the camping niche as an example.:

    1. Log in to your twitter account.

    2. Search for the terms 'guests post camping/guest author camping' ( you could use other search queries but this is just to start you off)

    3. Picture is attached of what the search would look like.

    4. Two blogs I found:

    Hitch-Hikers' Handbook | the ultimate hitch-hikers' resource - DA 30, PA 41
family camping | Read CampingBlogger and Take the Kids Camping - DA 40, PA 50

Now some of you may think these may not be strong domains but this is the key here - these people are actively promoting their posts on twitter.

    Amount of followers per site:

    Hitch-Hikers' Handbook | the ultimate hitch-hikers' resource - 281 followers
family camping | Read CampingBlogger and Take the Kids Camping - 8385 followers

If you had a guest post on each site and if they promoted your posts, you'll end up with traffic going to your guest posts and eventually to your site.

So you are building backlinks as well as links that can generate traffic.

Saying all this, you do need a site that people actually want to link to. This includes things such as having a nice looking website, providing quality and engaging content etc.

Sorry for the bad picture, I don't know why it is coming out so bad.
