Lost about 50% of traffic from US

It all happened just 2 weeks before, around June 6th, when my current web host moved my account on a different server with different IP address.
Just after that day, I noticed a steep downfall in traffic and couple of days later I realized that I'm still receiving the same amount of traffic from various countries but I've lost almost 40-50% of traffic from U.S. alone.
I believe Google also released an update during that time. I'm just confused and don't know if an update by Google or change in IP by my current web host is responsible for lost traffic from US.
Can anyone help me in finding out the cause for the lost traffic?
