Pr in google ideas

So I've been thinking about how to get to page rank 2 in google.(my pr is 0)
My idea is to create 6 relevant sites with a 600 word article on the homepage that's related to my topic and interlink those 6. Wait until those rank and link it to my main site. Total cost would be about 16 including domain names and hosting.

What do you think?
Any other methods?

    If all those sites/pages are PR0, you'll end up with a PR0.

      Does it mean PR totally depends on link profile? The more high PR backlink you have, the higher PR you will have?

      Why PR anything. OP you know that PR is not like the Olympics or something where you win medals. Why not just rank your site for good keywords. In those Olympics you can win cash prizes.

        I just got the idea from somewhere and I wanted to here some thoughts.
        But I could have any amount of pr0 links and I wouldn't get anything Seo benifits?

          Correct. The PR of a page of your own site depends on the PR of links to that page. You can get a thousand PR0 backlinks to a page on your site, and the PR of that page won't rise. If you want PR2 for a page, you need many PR2 backlinks, or better, several higher-than-PR2 backlinks.

          Are you really talking about the PR of you site (page on your site)? If you aren't planning on selling links for the page, then PR of your own site pages isn't important. Having a low PR or a high PR on a page doesn't increase search engine results for a keyword, and it doesn't increase traffic to that page. PR is important regarding links from *other* site pages to your page, but your own page's PR isn't important (except maybe for "bragging rights" or to feel good about things, which doesn't really matter).
