Bidvertiser....fraud clicks?

Hi,

I just signed up for Bidvertiser, as an advertiser.

I've been watching the traffic coming in with Mouseflow, which actually records what people do when they land on your site.

They don't seem like real people. They show up on my landing page, don't even bother scrolling down. They wait a few seconds, click on a nav link, then another nav link. They never scroll down the page.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Adwords....but at least adwords brings me real people.

Oh well.....there is $30 down the drain. Hopefully this helps someone else.

I'm just glad I had a tool to see they were not real interested visitors

I know what you mean. I've tried Bidvertiser and a few others as well. The only traffic providers that have proven to deliver real people to my sites were advertise.com and 7search. My CPA was the lowest with advertise.com.

That sounds like a description of real people to me. Bots generally don't click links. If you programmed one to make multiple page views so that it looks like you're receiving active visitors, the bot would not move a mouse and click a link to do so, nor would it be choosing only links in your navigation. It'd just be examining your HTML for URLs and picking one to request next with something like PhantomJS (headless Webkit, so it'll execute your analytics code). Nobody's programmed a high performance cluster with computer vision algorithms and a neural network to identify navigation bars in order to fake human interaction with a website. I don't think Bidvertiser charges enough to employ people to click around your site either. You're probably just discovering that random people in other countries who click through text ads on low quality sites aren't as valuable as US/CA/AU/EU visitors who just searched Google for what you have to offer.

Google Adwords is great way to deliver some real human visitors and traffic is quite convertible.

I know what you mean. I used Bidvertiser with a free coupon to start their service and by the time 2-days were up, so were the $20.00. I added my paypal account to it because they say they add funds when the account gets low. I invested another $50.00 into it and no sales from it. I monitored the click also from my online chat software, it tells me what page they are on and what pages they visit. I will not advertise with Bidvertiser again.
