In the Google Adwords Keyword tool, is there a way to find the estimated CPC if it is listed as blank by google? In local SEO, this can sometimes be a problem. And I was wondering if there is a way to estimate the cpc even if its blank.

This is an example of a blank cpc estimate.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like you have the wrong tab selected - Ad Group Ideas (Beta). Try selecting "Keyword Ideas". If that doesn't work click on the "Columns" dropdown menu and make sure it's selected. If it's for Adsense the "Contexual Targeting Tool" will have a more accurate CPC.

    Hi bluehabit,

The Google AdWords Keyword Tool provides actual data, not estimates.

It appears there is no data for the keyword you used in that screenshot.

Google does have a Traffic Estimator Tool, however I doubt that any tool can provide an estimate for a keyword that has no search volume.

Since there is no search volume for that keyword, that is why there is no CPC mentioned.

It wont be useful for you to run ads for that keyword as Google will ask you to fork out more money for a keyword for which the searches are very low.

Try some long tail keywords and you should see some data.

Let me know if you need any other assistance.

I am adwords certified so know quite a bit about it
