    Hi,

It needs to be with http://

Visit your domain name in your web browser, then copy the address from the address bar into notepad.

That is what you should use.

I believe that it actually doesn't make a difference as long as it is an actual link. But it is always better to be safe than sorry, so stick with http:// and you definitely won't have any problems.

With or without http://???? Well, are you trying ftp, https, file, or other such stuff?

Asking a question like that means you should really learn about websites
      and the internet first.

I would not even bother link building until I had a grasp on things.

Yeah, I know. Domains are cheap and WP is free. Well, I can wear
a set of scrubs, mask, gloves, but I aint no brain surgeon.

I always go with http:// .I see most directories and comment field make it strict to enter http:// before typing the domain name where there is www or not.

    Try to keep variations like:

    http://www.
    www.
    http://
    http://www.----.com/
    http:///-----.com

    etc..

This way it would look more natural.
