Why is there not a webmaster Union to Combat issues with Google and Demand More Respect from company?

The things they are doing right now to the 'little guy' that made that monstrous machine is ridiculous.

Has anyone hear dof such a thing? One with power. One that's free?

I was thinking something of this kind from a long time, but, I don't know how it would work out. May be someone should start thinking about this seriously and do it.

I don't get this at all:

Why are you entitled to anything from their search engine?

    Google isn't a government...it's a business!

The same way you wouldn't expect TGI Fridays to hook you up with a free dinner you shouldn't expect any favors from Big G.

Probably for the same reason that Medical professionals are not allowed prescribe Anti Hallucinogenic drugs for people, who are clearly suffering from

    "GIGS"

    Google Is God Syndrome

Business not unlike nature, is all about natural selection.

Only the strongest survive, so when your business takes a hit, you need to adapt and evolve. If you don't, you get killed off.

Google has proven to be quite volatile over the past couple of years, so smart businesses diversified their traffic sources. Whether it be through social media, video marketing, branding, or email marketing, good businesses have evolved to be less dependent on Google.

Yes SEO still brings home the bacon for many (including myself), but you are seriously setting yourself up for failure if your business only or heavily relies on Google traffic. Every time Matt Cutts farts businesses are ruined, so don't build yours out of a house of cards that can be undone by some flatulence.
