Is it good to boost Youtube video to rank better ?

I read in another forum that in three steps the youtube videos can be boosted and he said he ranked better following those steps..Is it true and are we allowed to boost youtube traffic and it doesn't come under blackhat technique ?

Please advice...

    These are the three steps...

    I used these step to rank my video on youtube, So lets start.

    1.Tags And Keywords.

    Only use 3-4 TAGS for your video, Using 10-15 Keywords will take your video nowhere. Go to Google's keyword tool and generate keywords and add them in description of your video. This is very effective step.

    2.Boost it a little.

    Boost your video a little, Use Vagex. Boost your video with some retension views. You will stuck on 301 Views But dont worry its temporary! Keep boosting. When you reach the no of likes,and views you want stop it(Stop it on 1k-1.5k Views and 100 likes, Cool enough).

    3.Backlinking

    Go to pastebin, tinypastes like sites and make a paste of your video with description of your video. This method works great!Make 5 Pastes/Day.


    Use these 3 steps, And you will surely rank on top pages. This is what i have learned and have worked for me.I will add more information in future Working on those actually!

    From my experience of ranking several videos in 2013, the only 2 factors that really matter are:

    On-page - Keyword in title and description. Must appear at least 4 times in 500 words since Google can't "see" the video.

    Off-page - Backlinks

    I've ranked a video on the front page of both Google as well as Youtube by boosting it with Views/Likes.
    Getting Views sure goes a long way in helping the video rank better.

    As said above, on-page optimization works good for Yahoo Video optimization.. the more activity you would make in off-page optimization the more benefit you would get too.. but consider relevancy too.

    As far as ranking in Google:

    1 - Target low to medium competition.

    2 - Optimize everything. Exact keywords in the filename, keywords in your description, tags, etc.

    3 - Get the videos to about a thousand views with some likes. (I usually aim for about 20 or so.)

    4 - Backlink the video. I've found that it really doesn't take much as a properly optimized YT video tends to rank pretty well naturally. And I've also found that some of the more "questionable" tactics seem to actually work, if you're going that route.
