Shared hosting vs reseller for SEO

Hi Warriors,

I use shared hosting. Have never had reseller hosting as I don't ever flip my sites.

HOWEVER, are there any advantages in terms of SEO for sites with reseller hosting? I use HostNine and addon domains are added to the primary domain as subdomains I believe.

I am not an expert when it comes to hosting so would be very grateful for an indication of implications in idiot friendly lay terms! In addition are there any implications in terms of SEO from switching domains from a shared hosting account to reseller hosting?

Would be very grateful for any thoughts!

    There can be a slight seo benefit to having your own ip address for a domain, rather than sharing that same ip with many sites. The benefit isn't all that great, but you can get your own ip on shared hosting too.
