Just write and just focus on having engaging content. Don't focus on numbers too much same with "how many links you need to send out a day etc."

I would add SEM Rush to your arsenal. After you find a good group of keywords in the Google keyword tool run them through SEM Rush and look at what the most profitable keywords are. The ones w/ the highest CPC will pay you the highest EPC. There is no sense in going after keywords that dont make money. I think that's a mistake a lot of people make.

Then search for your most profitable keywords on google and copy and paste the top 5-10 results for each one. Take that list over to Alexa so you know what sites are related, and where they are getting their traffic from. Keyword research is critical to your success so don't skimp on that phase.

One last thing... the submission sites are okay but you might do better writing an article on ezine. Your site will be indexed almost immediately after your article is published and it will give the search engines some context as to what your site is about.

    I think it's a good start.

For the link building portion, you may need to be a little more aggressive in your link acquiring capabilities before you actually start seeing results. If you go the route you outlined, it may take A WHILE to see any reasonable ranking increases. You may wanna check the Warriors for Hire section for alternative linking methods or check my signature for help.
