Will This Make Ad"sense"?

Anyway, here's the idea:
Take a blog, load it with SEO'd content related in a high CPC niche, like insurance, and drive traffic to it via articles/organic/video. Will this work for making cash? When I find these "high paying" keywords to write around, are ads that payout that much necessarily going to show up? Or do you think ads that payout that much are only being shown on certain sites and wouldn't show up in the content network? Any idea? :confused: Seems like it'd be a really easy way to beef up my adsense earnings, too easy possibly. Input appreciated. Thanks!
