TemplateMonster Templates...Bad for SEO and Google Ranking?

Hey Gang,

Just looking around the TemplateMonster.com website for professional templates:
Flash Templates | TemplateMonster

I noticed they have many flash templates available (that also come with a non-flash version), my question is...

Is it possible to obtain quality Google rankings with a flash template from such a site?

I havent actually downloaded any yet, but knowing how important "on page" factors are...are these templates 100% flash based or a mixture of both html and flash (to still have keywords located by spiders for ranking etc)

Has anyone managed to rank well in medium/low competition keyword phrases with a flash site?

    If they are mostly html with some flash, that is probably workable, but if they are almost all flash, it could handicap you a little.

    Definitely stay away from full flash templates if you want to get organic SE traffic or if you want to improve AdWords quality score.

    You can use a flash graphic on a page and have no problem.

    If it is a low competition niche, you could rank well in SE's with a lot of backlinks with your targeted keywords in them.
