Better to upgrade to "enhanced" campaigns or let it do it by itself on July 22?

Thanks in advance...

When you manage multiple accounts (via an MCC interface) and have literally hundreds of campaigns ... across multiple clients/verticals, is it better to:

1.
let the system upgrade itself and see the performance over the next few weeks or...

2.
slowly, one-by-one upgrade client accounts before the deadline (July 22) ?

3.
What are the dangers of letting Adwords handle the upgrade?

    I would highly advise you upgrade them yourself prior to the deadline. There are a ton of new features and bidding elements that will need to be manually adjusted.

    If you let Adwords do it you're going to see a huge drop in performance.

        There are a lot of resources available, just use Google.

        But here's a good head start:

        Every account is going to be different and will require different settings. You're going to have to use your best judgement. I hope if you're managing a lot of different accounts that you have the skills to deal with this.....

            I have recently upgraded a few accounts and since we do not want/need any mobile traffic we selected the -90% "mobile" traffic option.

            What do you think about it? Ideas? Suggestions?

    Should allow us to choose whether we want an enhanced campaign or not. To force us to use it as standard setting is BS.
