links not reflecting on webmaster tools

I created several back links manually a few days ago but they are not reflecting on webmaster tools' "links to your site" section.How long does it take for the links to appear here? also, is this the best way to track your link building progress, if not, then which tool is more easier to use for tracking links.

    The best way I found of tracking the links I create.

    After I create the link. I go to the URL where it was created.
    CTRL+A
    CTRL+C
    Then I create a new .txt file on my PC. I would normally name that "Backlinks" or something I can easily remember.
    Then I open that, and press
    CTRL+V
    The backlink URL should then appears in the .txt file. After which I select Save in the .txt menu.

    I've been doing this for years without any issues. If you need help, check out youtube


    Using this method does not require any use of Google Webmasters also. Which is a real time saver.

    links on webmaster tool will take about 3weeks to a month to show up

    and the best way to check or track your link is making use of seomajestic in my case it deed work give it a try
