Hello people,

So I was just testing the waters with facebook and dating offers... but theres an issue.

My ad says it can target demographics of 740,000 people.. and its been running for two days and ad reach is only 604??
Max Bid is at 0.70c. This campaign has been live for about 2 days.

    It depends what your CTR is. If your CTR is very low then it means your ad is not very targeted and thus Facebook will not be as keen to run it.

    One big mistake people make when advertising on Facebook is thinking that a bigger audience is better. That's wrong. Facebook is all about targeting and you need to use that to your advantage.

    You should be honing in your targeting so your ad is only being seen by those who are very interested in it. I would recommend a max of 50,000 people. The more targeted your ad is to your audience, the higher your CTR, the lower your click prices, and the more often your ad will be shown.

    Perhaps try increasing your bid... If not, try targeting specific cities, gender and all the way down to age. Also try making the header for your ads something relevant to the location e.g. "Meet singles in NYC" this will insure a high CTR.
