This might look like an amateurish question but I have searched the web couldn't find relevant answer to this just wanted to know if i need proxies to do automated seo ( seNuke XCR or licorne aio ) for only 1 website.

Thats my own personal website i want to do seo, i have done manual link building so far and got some good links, but with more design work ( i'm a designer ) i don't find time to do manual link building now. I'm reluctant to offer it to any seo service provider becoz of budget constraints so the main question is:

Do i need to buy proxies for automated SEO for 1 website.

Thanks in advance to those who provide help.

The big questions is how much are you going to run Senuke? If you're going to make a lot of campaigns with Senuke in a day then you might consider getting proxies so that you can have consistent success rate.

But just for one site, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

But just for a reference some of my favorite proxy providers are:

Hide My Ass, it's a a VPN which gives you access to tons of different IP address for $11~

BuyProxies: They give out great proxies and great support. The smallest package is 10 proxies for $10

I don't plan to make a lot of campaigns with SENuke, most of my strategy is to create web 2.0 and some bookmarks. On the other hand I also plan to use Aritcle Marketing robot, so still not sure whether to run a full campaign with SENuke, Licorne OR just use Article Marketing Robot, I mean u guys are expert and might now which is more safe and fruitful at the end.

PS: I'm an ardent supporter of Manual link building just trying to see how the machines work for me.

If you are going to use seNuke make sure you fully understand it so that you don't negatively impact your site's rankings.

      Thanks for suggestion,

any tutorial or website that can help me to understand SENuke XCR fully,

I'm aware of the problems it can create, i will even risk my present 400+ backlinks that i have done through manual link building

For 1 website, no you definitely don't need more than 1 proxy.

The purpose of proxies is so you can leave multiple backlinks on the same domain without the webmaster detecting all these backlinks placed is coming from the same person.

The only reason you would want to subscribe to a proxy service is when you need backlinks from the same domain to your different websites.

seoace is right. Unless you're making a lot of campaigns, making one campaign for a site with your IP is just like manually making the links, without all the work involved.

Very true but a lot of people don't understand the real usage of proxies which is to basically just to cover up your identity.

If anyone were to just leave just 1 backlink per domain then no proxies are needed even if you use Senuke, Magic submitter, ultimate demon, etc.

However, if you were scraping for websites to post your backlinks to then proxies are a must.

SENuke, or any other similar tool, is almost useless without decent proxies.

Avoid stuff like SE Nuke like the plague.

Used to do those as well, but those days are gone.

Anytime you start asking yourself about Proxies, you are going in a wrong direction...

I don't have much options left, SEO (manual) is quite slow process and requires lot dedication, time towards it, I have spent atleast 2 months on building back-links even sidelined my design work, the result wasn't promising.

I knew I haven't built solid backlinks to gain good rankings but I have survived penguins and panda's to an extent but lagging behind on 3rd or 4th page in google means no income or no customers and its really uneasy to see spammers on top of you sitting comfortably on page1 of google.

Do you have a DSL modem? If so, just unplug your modem and then plug it back in.

Voila, you have a new IP address.

The fact is that you DO NOT need proxy IPs for what you are trying to do. Furthermore, when you use proxies, your submission success rate is going to drop significantly.

SEnukeXcr is a very good software if used properly. To use it properly, you just need to spread your link submission out over time. In other words, do not try and build a bunch of links in a day or even a week. Rather, spread it across a month or six weeks.

    Hopefully this helps

I won't suggest to use any tool for link building, if you want to work on larger level then you can outsource as well, but do only manual work for better result, I would say.
